Open enrollment is an opportunity to review your coverage and find the best options for you and your family.
Who is eligible for benefits?
Regular full-time employees are eligible to participate in the benefit plans.
Who are my legal dependents?
When does my coverage start?
Your coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following 30 days from your date of hire.
You can modify your elections under certain circumstances, called qualifying life events. These are events such as:
If you experience a qualifying life event during the year, you may make changes to your benefits within 30 days, or 60 days if the event is due to birth or adoption of a child. Contact your HR Department as soon as possible to make changes to your benefits. If you miss this special enrollment window, you will have to wait until the next annual open enrollment.
Current Employees: If you would like to make changes to your existing coverage, you must do so through the Employee Navigator Portal. Your current medical, dental, and vision elections will carry forward to the new plan year if you do not make a new election.
New Hires: Register for a new Employee Navigator Portal account. You will receive an email from Employee Navigator to complete registration and make your benefit elections.

What is a Health Reimbursement Arrangement? A Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) is an employer-funded health benefit that reimburses employees for qualified medical expenses, including monthly premiums and out-of-pocket costs, like copayments and deductibles. These reimbursements are typically tax-free for employees.
How does an HRA work? An HRA covers qualified out-of-pocket expenses for you, your spouse, and your tax dependents. Employees are responsible for all eligible deductible expenses up to the first $1,000 for a single and $2,000 per employee/child, employee/children, employee/spouse, and family. Your employer will then pay the remaining eligible deductible expenses through the HRA.
24/7 Access
With virtual medicine, you and your family have access - day or night, seven days a week - to U.S. licensed, board-certified doctors. These doctors diagnose and treat most non-emergency illnesses. They can even prescribe medications when appropriate.
When to Use Virtual Visits
Virtual doctors can treat sinus infection, upper respiratory infection, bronchitis, flu, conjunctivitis, cough and sore throat. Of the top 20 reasons people visit urgent care centers, 18 can be treated through a virtual medicine visit.
Get Started
Visit amwell.com or doctorondemand.com and follow the instructions to register and download their mobile apps. You can use either or both of these services, depending on the availability of virtual doctors in your area.

As a Blue Cross Blue Shield member, you can take your healthcare benefits with you - across the country and around the world. Your membership gives you a world of choices. Did You Know?
You have the freedom to select the dentist of your choice; however, when you visit a participating in-network dentist, you will have lower out-of-pocket costs, no balance billing, and claims will be submitted by your dentist on your behalf.
Pre-Treatment Estimate
If your dental care is extensive and you want to plan ahead for the cost, you can ask your dentist to submit a pre-treatment estimate. While it is not a guarantee of payment, a pre-treatment estimate can help you predict your out-of-pocket costs.

Eyes can give doctors a clear picture of overall wellness. That’s why vision care and benefits can help employees stay healthy. A comprehensive eye exam can detect early signs of serious health problems, such as:
What is a Flexible Spending Account? A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a tax-advantaged savings account that you can use to pay for qualified medical expenses, such as copays and medications. Contributions to FSAs aren’t subject to federal income tax if used for medical expenses, while Dependent Care FSAs can be used to pay for eligible care expenses, such as daycare and before/after-school programs. Unlike an HSA, you do not need to be enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) to qualify for an FSA.
Do FSA funds expire? Unspent FSA funds typically don't roll over, meaning any funds not used by the end of the plan year will be lost.
Who is covered? An FSA covers qualified out-of-pocket expenses for you, your spouse, and your tax dependents.

A serious injury can cost you a lot of money - not only in medical bills, but in things like income from lost work hours. If you get hurt, accident insurance pays you money that you can use to cover personal expenses, bills, and out-of-pocket medical costs. Accident Insurance can pay a set benefit amount based on the type of injury you have and the type of treatment you need. It covers accidents that occur on and off the job, and it includes a range of incidents, from common injuries to more serious events.
