MEDICAL
FCA offers a choice of three medical plans with UnitedHealthcare (UHC).

VOLUNTARY BENEFITS
Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity are offered through UnitedHealthcare (UHC).
FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS (FSA)
Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts (Not Applicable to HDHP Members if you Contribute to a Health Savings Account):
Employees may elect up to $1,500 per year on a pre-tax basis to use towards health care purchases. There is a $610 rollover feature so keep in mind, the FSA accounts have a “use it or lose it” rule, minus the $610 rollover.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts:
You can set aside an annual amount up to $5,000 on a pre-tax basis to use towards expenses for qualified dependent(s).
Health Savings Account (HSA):
If you enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, you have the opportunity to contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA). An HSA is a bank account used to pay for qualified health expenses (medical, dental, vision) for you and your eligible tax dependents. The maximum contribution for 2023 is $3,850 for single coverage and $7,750 when covering dependents.
LIFE AND DISABILITY
The Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life, Short Term and Long Term Disability programs are with The Standard.
UNIVERSAL LIFE INSURANCE
FC Architects, Inc. offers a Permanent Life option through Transamerica. Universal Life allows you to build cash value, borrow from it to help pay for expenses such as college tuition and mortgage, and use to help pay for costs associated with Long Term Care.
