What's New for 2026
Medical Updates
- Carrier transition from HealthPartners to Blue Cross Blue Shield MN.
- $1,000–$40 plan: Copay reduced to $40; lower out‑of‑pocket maximum ($5,000/$10,000).
- $3,300–100% HSA plan: Deductible aligned with the 2026 IRS limit and embedded individual coverage.
Other Enhancements
- Dental renewal with Principal (+7% premium adjustment).
- Short‑Term Disability discontinued — replaced by new Minnesota Paid Family & Medical Leave (MN PFML).

Dental Coverage
Administered by Principal — comprehensive coverage for preventive, basic, and major dental services.
- Annual maximum: $1,500 per person
- 100% coverage for preventive care

Disability & Paid Leave
Beginning January 1, 2026, MN employees gain state-paid leave benefits through MN PFML:
- Funded jointly: 0.44% of wages each by employee & employer
- Up to 20 weeks combined medical/family leave
- Tiered wage replacement up to 90% for lower income levels
Long-Term Disability continues through Principal at no cost — 60% of income, up to $10,000/month after a 90-day waiting period.

- Doctor On Demand: Virtual healthcare 24/7 for medical and mental health needs.
