Remember all elections are binding through 12/31/2022 unless you have a valid qualifying life event such as marriage, the birth of a baby, or a divorce.

Benefits Overview

Medical and Prescription Drug – Meritain

  • Meritain is the Medical plan administrator effective 1/1/2022. Meritain utilizes the same Aetna Choice POS II Network that was in place for 2021.YOU MUST USE YOUR NEW ID CARD STARTING 1/1/2022 FOR ALL CARE (Prescriptions, Medical care, etc).
  • There have been no changes to the plan designs for 2022
  • Maintenance Medications, which are those you take on a regular basis, must be filled either through Mail Order or retail at CVS for a 90 day supply. You are allowed 2 fills at a 30 day supply to allow you time to get a 90 day script from your physician and either set up Mail Order or start utilizing CVS. Please view the CVS Mail Service Guide for more information on how to set up
  • If your physician wants you to take the brand version of a medication with a generic equivalent, they must write DAW or Dispense as Written on the script


Dental – Cigna:

  • No changes to the plan designs for 2022.
  • To confirm if your dentist is in the network go to Cigna.com to search for a Dentist > select “Continue as guest >
  • Network for the DPPO Low & High Plans: Cigna DPPO Advantage. Note that Dentists who are in network with the Cigna DPPO network, but NOT the Cigna DPPO Advantage network, are NOT in network with you plan.
  • For DHMO Plan: Cigna Dental Care Access Plus. You MUST assign a primary dentist. The "Dentist office #" that you will be asked for in Kronos can be found when you search for a provider at cigna.com as mentioned above


Vision- Cigna:

  • No changes to plan design for 2022.

How To Enroll

Action Required

Employees must go to the Kronos Workforce Ready Employee Portal to enroll in benefits (New Hires) or make changes if you have a qualifying life event.


Your decisions will remain in effect for the entire plan year (January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022) unless you experience a qualifying life event.
