Welcome to Signature Bank's 2023 Open Enrollment

Open enrollment will take place from November 7, 2022 through November 21, 2022

 

Our annual Open Enrollment period has started and this is your opportunity to learn about Signature Bank’s Benefit Programs for the 2023 plan year. You can review the plans available to you and your family and select plan options that will provide coverage from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. Signature Bank will have six live educational webinar sessions that you can attend to learn more about the 2023 benefits offerings. More information on Signature Bank's benefit programs are available in the sections below.

  • Visit Workday to review your current benefit selections and to make changes to those selections for 2023
  • You can access Workday from home to make your elections before the November 21, 2022 enrollment deadline
  • If you don't do anything, your current medical, dental, vision and life insurance elections will continue into 2023
  • If you are enrolled in one of Signature Bank's medical plans, you must re-enroll int he Health Savings Account (HSA) and re-enter a contribution amount (even if that amount is $0)
  • All Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plans are reset to waive and contributions to $0. You must re-enroll in the FSA and re-enter a contribution amount for 2023.

Optional Life and AD&D Insurance Plans

In addition to the Basic Life and AD&D Insurance that Signature Bank provides its colleagues at no cost, there is also an option to supplement this coverage by enrolling in the Optional Life and/or AD&D Insurance plans. There are Optional Life and/or AD&D Insurance plans available for spouse and child as well.


  • Colleagues manage enrollment in the Optional Life and AD&D Insurance plans through Workday.
  • Colleagues should ensure that their beneficiary designation is up to date so that, if there are any benefits to be paid under these plans, they are sent to the person(s) intended.

Signature Bank provides colleagues enrolled in the Cigna medical plans with a way to get rewarded by caring for their health and well-being through the MotivateMe Program


New for 2023! - MotivateMe will be changing to a January 1st - December 31st plan year


  • Earn points by participating in wellness activities such as preventative visits
  • Your spouse and/ or domestic partner (if applicable) can earn points, too
  • Select the Wellness tab on mycigna.com to view your completed activities and points

Voluntary Benefits Plans

Signature Bank offers additional coverage through Voluntary Benefit Plans. Those plans include Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance and Pet Insurance. Accident and Critical Illness Insurance plans are provided by Colonial.


  • Accidental Insurance is additional income protection in the event you or a covered dependent are involved in an accident
  • Critical Illness is additional income protection in the event you or your covered spouse becomes seriously ill (heart attack, stroke or cancer)
  • Colleagues pay 100% of the premiums for these plans and the plans are portable


Pet Insurance is provided by Nationwide


  • Choose from various major medical plans that best suits the type and age of your pet
  • Colleagues may also cover exotic pets
  • Colleagues pay 100% of the premiums for these plans and the plans are portable



IMPORTANT: Enrollment in the Voluntary Benefit Plans is not supported through Workday. Colleagues must contact either Colonial or Nationwide directly to obtain information about the plans available, coverage for other dependents and the premiums associated with these options.
