Introduction

Welcome to Lenape Valley Foundation's Open Enrollment for the new plan year beginning on January 1, 2025.

This year Open Enrollment will begin on Monday, November 18th and will end on Wednesday, December 4th .

Annual enrollment is your opportunity to learn about the 2025 Benefits Program, review your current coverage and choose the best options for you and your family. Please review our Guidebook to learn more about our 2025 benefits offerings.

Benefits Overview

Below is a summary of the benefits offered. Please refer to the 2025 Guidebook in the Resources section for more information.

MEDICAL PROGRAM

Lenape Valley Foundation offers a choice of three medical plans through IBC.

DENTAL PROGRAM

Lenape Valley Foundation offers the Premier Plus PPO dental plan through Delta Dental.

VISION PROGRAM

Lenape Valley Foundation offers the vision plan through Vison Benefits of America (VBA). 

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

Please keep in mind, FSA Accounts have a “use it or lose it” rule, minus the rollover for the Health Care FSA. Therefore, you must predict your 2023 spending when electing this benefit. You cannot change it during the year once elected. Careful planning is required!

Health Care FSA

  • The 2025 Health Care FSA maximum is $3,300. This plan is Use it or Lose It so plan carefully. If you have a balance remaining at the end of the year, you will only be able to roll over up to $660.

Dependent Care

  • You can set aside an annual amount between $100 and $5,000 on a pre-tax basis to use towards qualified dependent care expenses such as before/after school care, day care, and summer day camp.

LIFE AND DISABILITY

Lincoln Financial Group provides Group Life/AD&D, Supplemental Life, Short and Long Term Disability. 

VOLUNTARY BENEFITS THROUGH AFLAC

Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance are available on a voluntary basis through Aflac.

PET INSURANCE

Pet Insurance through Nationwide is available to all staff at discounted rates! You will have a choice of a 70% or 50% benefit – pick the coverage that is right for you! You can insure most household pets, and the rates for cats and dogs and most other household pets. Use any vet – no networks for pre-approval. Enroll directly through Nationwide at http://www.petinsurance.com/lenapevf and the benefit will be payroll deducted! 

STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM

Silver Lion can help staff tackle student debt. The student loan assistance program includes:

  • Advice and insights to help you consolidate your loans and save money
  • Loan review and analysis

WAIVING MEDICAL

A waiver credit is available for those who do not enroll in Lenape Valley Foundation’s medical program. The credit is $xxx per month, prorated for benefits eligible employees working between 30 and 37.5 hours per week.

In order to receive this benefit there are two steps: 1) waive the medical plan and 2) enroll in the Opt Out Medical Reimbursement plan.

TOBACCO SURCHARGE

Employees who participate in the LVF medical program AND continue to use tobacco products will pay an additional &XXXXX.00 per month. All employees participating in the LVF medical program in 2025 will be required to complete an affidavit regarding status of using (or not using) tobacco products.
