Annual enrollment is your opportunity to learn about the 2020-2021 Health Care Program, review your current coverage, and choose the best options for you and your family.

Benefits Overview

  • Open enrollment is the only time during the year that you have the opportunity to enroll or change your medical, dental, or vision elections (unless you experience a qualifying event).
  • If you experience a qualifying event such as adoption or birth of a child, marriage, divorce, death of a covered member, or loss in coverage from a spouse’s plan, etc., please remember to let HR know within 30 days from the date of the qualifying event
  • Retirement Planners and Administrators will continue to offer CareFirst Medical and Guardian Dental and Vision coverages

Medical Plan 1:

CareFirst BlueChoice HMO Gold $1,500

$1,500 Individual deductible/ $3,000 Family deductible

Medical Plan 2:

CareFirst BlueChoice Advantage Gold $1,000

$1,000 Individual deductible/ $2,000 Family deductible

Take Advantage of your Benefits:

  • Get your annual wellness exam – it’s free!
  • Consider using generic drugs
  • Use mail order if you take medications monthly
  • Review your Explanation of Benefits to make sure a discount was applied if you used a participating provider

How To Enroll

Action Required
  • Please visit Employee Navigator to make all of your benefit changes!
  • If you'd like to change your existing coverage or make new elections, you must do so by October 30th. Your current medical, dental and vision elections will carry forward to 2021 if you don't make a new election.
