We review our benefit programs each year to ensure we consider the best combination of benefit coverage, network access and affordability for employees. MW Chevrolet remains committed to providing a competitive, cost-effective benefit program. Each year we take great care and detail in the benefit programs offered to employees.

ELIGIBILITY

All regular employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in the benefit plans on the 91st day of employment. When you enroll in the benefits program, you may also cover your eligible dependents. Dependents include your legal spouse and children. Dependent children eligibility is as follows:


  • Medical, Dental, Vision: End of the year the child turns 26
  • Voluntary Life/AD&D: 19th birthday or 26th birthday if full time student
  • Accident, Critical Illness: 26th birthday


Should your employment with Feldman end, your coverage will end as of the date of termination. If rehired within 6 months of your termination, a new hire waiting period will not apply.

NEW HIRES! Action Required: You must log into Feldman Automotive Connection and elect or waive benefits between the 1st and the 15th of the month prior to your 91st day of employment.


ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Go to www.feldmanautomotiveconnection.com
  2. Enter your User ID: First Initial + Last Name (e.g.John Smith = JSmith)
  3. Enter your Password: Last 4 of your SSN
  4. Follow instructions and enroll in your benefits
  5. Make sure to save your elections and print your confirmation statement.


The only opportunity to modify your plan elections for 2023 is if you have a Qualifying Life Event. These are events such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, loss of eligibility under another plan. If you experience a Qualifying Life Event, you may make changes to your benefits by contacting Human Resources and completing any election changes in Feldman Automotive Connection within 30 days of the event (60 days if due to adding a new child from birth or adoption). You will need to provide supporting documentation to support the changes based on the Qualifying Life Event. Exception: HSA contributions can be changed at any time for any reason.

We offer a variety of medical plans for you to choose from, all of which include prescription drug coverage. The plan offerings available for 2023 are highlighted below. For more details you may review the plan summaries.


PPO Plan - The most flexible.

  • No need to select a primary care physician or obtain referrals
  • Both in and out of network coverage provided
  • Utilizes the nationwide BCBS PPO network


The Point of Service (POS) - Very similar to the PPO Plan

  • Non-Michigan Residents do not need to select and PCP. You also do not need referrals to see a specialist. In network providers include nationwide Blue Card Traditional providers, out of network coverage is also provided.


The HSA plans allow you to pair those plans with a Health Savings Account (HSA) if you meet qualifications of eligibility (more info in the HSA section).
