WELCOME
Helping you and your family reach and maintain good health is very important to Michigan Pneumatic Tool. Michigan Pneumatic Tool is pleased to offer a selection of benefits designed with your health and financial wellbeing in mind. We review our benefit programs each year to ensure we consider the best combination of benefit coverage, network access and affordability for employees.
Summary of Changes Effective January 1st, 2026:
- Medical Plans will remain through BCBCSM/BCN
- PPO HSA $1,650, moving up to PPO HSA $1700, increase in contributions
- POS HSA $1,650, moving to POS HSA $2000, increase in contributions
- HMO $500, no longer offering
- HMO $1,500, moving to HMO $2,000, increase in contributions
- Dental & Vision plans will remain through Guardian, no changes to contributions
- HSA IRS Limits increasing to $3,400/$8,750
- Life/AD&D will remain through Guardian
- Voluntary Benefits will remain through Aflac
- ID Protection will remain through Watchdog

ENROLLMENT
All regular employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in the benefit plans offered by Michigan Pneumatic Tool. Benefits will be effective 1st of the month following 60 days of active employment. When you enroll in the benefits program, you may also cover your eligible dependents. Dependents include your legal spouse and children. Children eligibility is as follows -
- Medical, Dental & Vision: End of the calendar year in which the child turns 26.
- Voluntary Life: Age 21, or 25 if full time student, terms on Birthday
ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Go to EmployeeNavigator.com, go to register if you are a new user or continue to login if you are a returning user
- If you are a new user, the Company Identifier is MichPT
- Once you are logged in, click Open Enrollment, and choose the benefits that work best for you and your family
- Submit your elections, then print or save the confirmation statement.
The Benefit choices you make during your open enrollment remain in effect for the entire year. You can, however, modify your elections under certain circumstances, called "Qualifying Life Events" These are events such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, loss of eligibility under another plan. If you experience a qualifying event, you may make changes to your benefits within 30 days of the event or 60 days if the event is due to birth or adoption of a child.

MEDICAL/RX
BCBSM Medical/Rx
BCBSM will continue to be the medical and prescription carrier. You may view participating providers at the link below or consult with your existing providers.
Some, not all, differences to be aware of between plans, for a detailed look at how services are covered view the below BAAG in each respective plan:
VIRTUAL CARE
We provide those employees who are covered by one of the BCBSM medical plans access to virtual care with Teladoc Health. Teladoc Health provides members the opportunity to receive medical and mental health care from the comfort of your own home.
All eligible members will need to download the Teladoc Health app and create a new account with Teladoc Health.
Virtual Care:
Have a virtual visit with a U.S. board-certified doctor for minor illnesses such as colds, sore throats, urinary tract infections and pink eye. Visits are available for adults and children 24/7. Average wait time is 10 minutes. Prescriptions can be called in to your preferred pharmacy if needed.
Only Available to PPO Members - Virtual Primary Care:
See your PCP virtually, from the convenience and comfort of your home. You will receive, at no cost to you, a digital blood pressure monitor before your first visit. Appointments are available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
Member Advantages

- Eliminating transportation costs and travel time
- Build a relationship and receive quality care; average length of a new patient visit is 54 minutes
- Manage their chronic conditions; 46% of follow up visits were for identified chronic conditions
- Address their whole health needs; 20% of visits resulted in a referral to an in-network care provider and 53% used at least one other Teladoc service
Virtual Mental Health Services:
Through the Mental Health option, you can connect with a licensed therapist or U.S. board-certified psychiatrist when you’re dealing with stressful situations or issues such as grief, anxiety and depression. Appointments are available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. Therapy is available for members ages 13 and up. Psychiatry is available for members ages 18 and up.
Condition Management:
A resource for those with hypertension, prediabetes, or diabetes. Some may qualify for a glucose monitor or scale, at no cost. See flyers for details.
BCBSM PROGRAMS & PERKS
The following programs are available to all BSBCM members.
Blue 365, is a discounts and rewards program offered to all BCBSM members, see link below to take advantage of virtual fitness classes, healthy food, and much more!

Calm Health app, for relaxation tips, and smoothing music.
Iris Cancer is difficult to navigate, emotionally and physically. That’s why we’re working with OncoHealth® to introduce Cancer Support, a navigational program through OncoHealth’s virtual platform, Iris. Cancer Support is part of your health plan at no cost for you and your employees.
Maven, for maternity or menopause support, please see the Maven Flyers. Available to you and your spouse at no cost.
Sempre Rx This discount program focuses on certain drugs treating common chronic conditions where following doctors’ orders can improve your health and prevent serious complications.
You may be contacted by BCBSM via phone or mail to sign up for PillarRx, it's important you don't ignore these calls or letters. The team will only contact you when a drug you're taking is now under a 'co-pay assistance program' called PillarRx. If you don't register for PillarRx, which is free to do, you will be asked to pay a much higher copay than you are used to.
Tobacco Coaching Quitting tobacco is difficult. BCBSM has a program to help you through this journey.
HSA
OptumBank
The Health Savings Account (HSA) allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible expenses. By contributing to a HSA, you reduce your taxable income, so you pay less in taxes — which saves you money.
To be eligible to contribute towards an HSA tax-free, you must meet the requirements below:
- Covered by a Qualified High Deductible Health Plan
- You cannot be covered by another health plan (including if your spouse has a Flexible Spending Account)
- You cannot be covered by Medicare or Medicaid
- You cannot be eligible to be claimed as a tax dependent
- You have not received VA benefits in the past 90 days
2026 HSA IRS Maximums are as follows:
$4,400 for a single contract
$8,750 for a two person or family
Additional $1,000 "Catch Up" contribution for those age 55+
HSA Reminders:
- You can spend your HSA dollars on qualified medical expenses (QME)
- The money is yours forever. It doesn’t expire or have a "use it or lose it" rule, and you can take it with you if you change jobs or switch to another high-deductible health plan.
- You can invest a portion of your HSA balance in mutual funds, stocks and bonds. Generally, this option is available when your balance reaches $2,000.
- You can use your HSA to save for retirement. At age 65, you can use the funds for any purpose without a penalty but subject to normal income taxes. The money you take out to pay for eligible medical expenses continues to be tax free.
DENTAL
Guardian
Michigan Pneumatic Tools offers eligible employees a dental plan detailed below. For more information see attached Dental Summary. You receive a higher level of benefits when you see a provider in-network, however, out-of-network coverage is provided but will be subject to balance billing. To find out if your provider is in-network, please visit the website below.
VISION
Guardian through VSP network
Michigan Pneumatic Tool offers vision coverage through Guardian with the VSP network to help pay for eye exams, prescription glasses and contact lenses. You receive a higher level of benefits when you see a provider in network, however, out-of-network coverage is provided but may only be handled as reimbursements in some situations. To find out if your provider is in-network, please visit the website below.
LIFE/AD&D

Michigan Pneumatic Tools provides you with financial protection options for life & accidental death & dismemberment through Guardian.
Life/AD&D
A sudden accident or death can leave you or your loved ones in a vulnerable position. All eligible employees have Employer Paid Core Life/AD&D for $25,000.
All eligible employees also have the opportunity to enroll in Voluntary Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance which will supplement lost income in the event of an accident or death. If you choose to enroll in this additional employee paid coverage, this will be in addition to your employer provided Life/AD&D coverage.
Who's Your Beneficiary? Naming a primary and secondary beneficiary is a crucial part of electing life insurance. Also, don't forget to update your primary or secondary beneficiary if you experience a life event, such as a divorce or birth of a child.
