Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment is your opportunity to evaluate your current benefit elections and make changes for the new plan year. You are given an Open Enrollment opportunity each year for a July 1 renewal.

Changes This Year

Medical Benefits: We are excited to introduce the new BCBS NativeBlue medical plan. This plan will replace our current medical plan options. We will have a new group number, so new cards will be issued. Be sure to destroy your old card, but not until July 1.

Members will receive 100% benefit (except for name brand and specialty prescriptions) when using a Native Blue provider. You will have some out-of-pocket costs if you go to an out-of-network provider.

Your Cost Per Paycheck: Depending on your current medical plan, you may see an increase to your per pay cost, but some will see a decrease. Your dental plan incurred an increase, so you will also see a change to your payroll deductions, for this benefit. No other benefit incurred an increase; however, you may see a change in your cost per pay for Voluntary Life and STD, if you advanced to a new age band or had a change in salary.

How To Enroll and Forms

Be sure to attend one of the in-person presentations to get your enrollment packet.

Enrollment Instructions

For currently enrolled employees, your benefits packet includes your personal Benefits Statement, which reflects your current benefit elections and payroll deductions. Please review for accuracy and report any discrepancies to HR. Note: Recent election changes may not be reflected on your statement.

If you are an active employee and don’t enroll or make any changes to your benefit elections during this Annual Open Enrollment period, your current benefit elections will automatically carry over to the next plan year. This feature is designed to make the enrollment process as easy as possible for employees who want to keep current coverage for another year.

For newly benefit eligible employees, your packet includes a benefits application. Please complete this form and return to HR no later than your 60th day of employment.

For anyone interested in enrolling in the NortonLifeLock Identity Theft Protection plan, you must complete their application included in your benefits packet. If you enrolled in April, that election will automatically renew.

Open Enrollment elections/changes must be submitted to HR by May 30th.

Flexible Spending Account

iSolved

Our FSA renews January 1, so you will be notified of your open enrollment opportunity, for this benefit, at that time.

A Flexible Spending Account allows participants to set aside money, before taxes, to use on eligible healthcare expenses. Since the monies are withheld from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis, you save tax dollars and lower your taxable income.
