Eligibility
Employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in benefits offered. When you enroll in the benefits program, you may also cover your eligible dependents. Dependents include your legal spouse, child(ren) up to age 26 (regardless of student status, marital status, residence, or financial dependence on you), and an unmarried child incapable of self-support.

If you are newly hired, you are eligible for benefits. The Gatesman Agency makes it very easy to complete your enrollment via the Isolved portal in order to be set up with the insurance coverages. Once completed, you will be enrolled, based on your elections.
You can choose from the comprehensive policies offered with world-class insurers:
You can modify your elections under certain circumstances, called "Qualifying Events" These are events such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, loss of eligibility under another plan. If you experience a qualifying event, you may make changes to your benefits within 30 days of the event.

Gateman's dental plan provides comprehensive coverage to help you and your family maintain good dental health. Providers are part of the Guardian National network, or you may see an out-of-network dentist of your choice. Be aware if you go out-of-network, your out of pocket costs will be higher.

Gatesman provides you with employer paid Life/AD&D Insurance coverage, as well as Short-Term Disability through Guardian Life Insurance Company. You can also purchase additional Life Insurance for you and your dependents, as well as Long Term Disability.
Basic Life/AD&D
Employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for Life Insurance coverage payable to your designated beneficiary in the event of your death. An additional accidental death & dismemberment benefit (AD&D) is payable to you in the event of a covered dismemberment or to your beneficiary if your death is the result of an accident.
Who's Your Beneficiary? Naming a beneficiary is a crucial part of electing life insurance. Also, don't forget to update your primary or secondary beneficiary if you experience a life event, such as a divorce or birth of a child.
Short Term Disability
Everyday illnesses or injuries can interfere with your ability to work. Even a few weeks away from work can make it difficult to manage household costs. Short Term Disability coverage provides financial protection for you by paying a portion of your income, so you can focus on getting better and worry less about keeping up with your bills.
Long Term Disability
Serious illnesses or accidents can interrupt your life, and your ability to work for months – even years. Long Term Disability provides financial protection for you by paying a portion of your income, so you have financial support to manage your disability and your household.

Get started with Level Funded Wellness, programs included in your health plan and designed to help you with a healthier lifestyle - all at no extra cost to you.
You can elect to set up a Flexible Spending Account, which is Pre-Tax Employee Funding for certain qualified benefits.
FSA's save on the cost of eligible healthcare and/or dependent care and commuter expenses
An FSA reduces income tax (Federal, State, and FICA) so the Pre-tax payroll contributions result in a lower taxable salary.

Modified “Use it or Lost it” rule applies
Any funds left unused at the rest of the Plan Year are forfeited, with the exception of $500 which you may elect to rollover into future years.
