Wiseway will conduct a "passive" enrollment this year. This means that your current enrollments will automatically rollover into 2022, with the exception of Flexible Spending Accounts, which will not be offered in 2022.
However, during this open enrollment period, you have the option of making changes to your current elections or enrolling for the first time (if you have met eligibility criteria).

The Benefit choices you make during your initial enrollment or annual open enrollment remain in effect for the entire year.
You can, however, modify your elections under certain circumstances, called "Qualifying Events" These are events such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, loss of eligibility under another plan. If you experience a qualifying event, you may make changes to your benefits within 30 days of the event or 60 days if the event is due to birth or adoption of a child.

Wiseway offers two medical plan options for employees working 30+ hours per week. All options provide high-quality, affordable medical care, including preventive care, doctor's visits, hospitalization, and emergency care. However, each plan has unique characteristics and advantages. The plans are offered through Medica.
Employees who enroll in the $5,250 Plan are eligible to participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) by establishing an account at a bank of your choice.
Health savings accounts (HSA’s) are a tax-advantaged savings account paired with a high deductible health plan exclusively for the purpose of paying qualified medical, dental and vision expenses for you, your spouse and your dependents.
The IRS limits the amount of contributions allowed each year, as follows:

If you are between the ages of 55-65, you can also make an additional $1,000 “catch-up” contribution annually.
Dental Insurance is available to employees working 40 hours per week.
Delta Dental has the largest dental provider network in Minnesota and the United States. The dental plan utilizes two Delta Dental network options and provides you with the freedom to see any dentist you choose.
The Voluntary Vision plan is available to employees working 40 hours per week.
Vision coverage through EyeMed provides benefits for eye exams, prescription glasses, contact lenses, as well as other vision-related items.
Eyemed's Insight network offers access to a large variety of providers; using an in-network provider increases your discounts for services.
Wiseway provides all employees with basic term life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage at no cost to you.
AD&D benefits are payable to you in the event of a dismemberment or an additional benefit is payable to your beneficiary if your death is the result of an accident.
Who's Your Beneficiary? Naming a beneficiary is a crucial part of electing life insurance. Also, don't forget to update your primary or secondary beneficiary if you experience a life event, such as a divorce or birth of a child.

Wiseway is pleased to offer the ability for you to elect voluntary life insurance for yourself, your spouse and/or your child(ren).
All active, full-time employees working a minimum of 40 hours per week are eligible. Coverage is effective for new hires the first of the month following 60 days. Spouses are eligible up to age 70, as long as you apply for and are approved for coverage on yourself. Your child(ren are covered from birth to age 26, as long as you apply for and are approved for coverage yourself.
A matching amount of Accidental Death and Dismemberment is included.
*Guaranteed Issue means that you may be able to purchase coverage up to this limit without medical exams or health questions. If you are a new hire and you apply within 31 days after you are eligible to elect coverage for yourself, you are entitled to choose any coverage offered up to the Guaranteed Issue Amount, without providing proof of good health. If you apply for an amount of coverage greater than the Guaranteed Issue Amount, coverage in excess of the Guaranteed Issue Amount will not be issued until the insurance company approves acceptable proof of good health.
