Annual enrollment is your opportunity to learn about your employee benefits, review your current coverage and choose the best options for you and your family.
UPMC Medical, Dental and Vision plans are effective January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.
If you are a new employee, you have the opportunity to elect coverages:
Medical, Dental and Vision - effective 1st of the month following 60 days of employment - you have a max of 30 days from the effective date to make a decision.
If you are currently enrolled in the medical, dental or vision plan(s) and you decide to keep the same benefits you do - nothing.
Been an employee and waived the coverages during your new hire enrollment period:
Open enrollment is your opportunity to elect coverages.
Please complete the UPMC application.
If you are currently enrolled in the medical, dental or vision plan and you need to make changes:
Adding or dropping a dependent
Change of address
Terminating your coverage
You will also need to complete the UPMC application

Your completed forms should be sent to Vivian by no later than 30 days from your effective date of coverage.

If you enroll in the UPMC medical you will automatically be enrolled in the supplemental medical for the Gilsbar Gap Plan.
