All active Eighth District Dental Society members are encouraged to set up a Highmark Member Portal. Access your claims, EOBs, member ID card, deductible balance and more, click the link below to begin.

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)

Interested in opening a Health Savings Account? An HSA is an interest-bearing account that gives you the ability to make tax-free withdrawals to pay for trips to the doctor, filling prescriptions, or other healthcare-related expenses. 


Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) can be paired with qualified high deductible health plans. Eligible plans are:


  • Silver PPO 7100
  • Silver POS 7100
  • Silver POS 8100


You can choose to open an account at any bank that offers HSAs. The Eighth District Dental Society partners with Key Bank of offer low fee accounts.

  2. Subject line: Eighth District Dental – Client ID 276697
  3. Body of email: Please process the attached application for {above-referenced group number} with an effective date of 00/00/0000. Please confirm receipt and processing.

How to Terminate

  1. Send termination request to Dana (dskinner@8ddsny.org) & Kari (admin@8ddsny.org)
  2. Subject line: Eighth District Dental – Client ID 276697
  3. Body of email: Please process termination request for member (NAME), (MEMBER ID or SSN), enrolled in (GROUP NUMBER) with last date of coverage being 00/00/0000.  


A confirmation of your termination will be provided once processed.
