Benefits Overview

BENEFITS CHANGES THIS YEAR

ALLIED WILL BE THE ADMINISTRATOR FOR THE MEDICAL PROGRAM - AETNA/NORTHWELL NETWORK

  • Allied, who uses the Aetna network nationally, will administer the same plan designs (EPO and PPO) currently administered by United Healthcare
  • 99% of the providers and facilities used by our employees today are also part of the Aetna network, so disruption to plan members should be minimal
  • In addition to the Aetna network, our NY employees will benefit from the Northwell Health Network, which offers lower costs for many services, including Primary care visits, Specialists, and Urgent Care
  • Contributions for the EPO plan will mostly stay the same. Contributions for the PPO plan will be increasing to cover medical inflation


Kaiser HMO Medical Plan

  • There will be no changes to the plan this year!
  • Contributions will be increasing to cover medical inflation


Aetna Dental Plan for New York Employees

  • There will be no rate changes to the plan this year!
  • For the PPO 1 Plan, Orthodontia will now be covered for dependent children up to age 19! Benefits will be paid at 50% coinsurance after the deductible, to a lifetime maximum of $2,000


Guardian Dental for California and Texas Employees

  • The Guardian DMO plan rates are increasing by 5% and the PPO plan rates are staying flat


Davis Vision

  • There will be no plan or rate changes to the plan this year

How To Enroll

How To Enroll for the 2023 Plan Year
  • Visit ADP WorkforceNow to review your current coverage and enroll and modify your elections
  • If you'd like to change your existing coverage or make new elections, you must do so by June 20th. Your current medical, dental and vision elections will carry forward to 2023 if you don't make a new election

They provide a one-stop contact center for answering your medical plan questions and resolving medical claim issues.
