Benefits Overview

ALLIED WILL CONTINUE AS THE ADMINISTRATOR FOR THE MEDICAL PROGRAM - AETNA SIGNATURE ADMINISTRATORS / NORTHWELL DIRECT NETWORKS

  • Employee contributions as a percentage of costs will remain the same going into next year. That means your payroll deductions will increase in accordance with the plan spend overall. D'Addario will continue to pay 75% of total plan costs.
  • The lowest salary band is expanding from covering those earning less than $50,000/year to include those earning less than $60,000/year.
  • There will be no plan changes for the 2025-2026 plan year.
  • NFP's Concierge service (see below) is available to help quickly resolve issues that do come up.

Aetna Dental Plan

  • The dental rates will be increasing slightly this year, however there will be no plan changes.

Davis Vision

  • There will be no plan or rate changes to the plan this year.

NEW for 7/1/2025 - ZEPBOUND* Discount Program

  • Anyone with an eligible prescription can purchase Zepbound vials for weight loss through Lilly Direct for 60-70% less than the total cost through insurance! For more information on this publicly available program, please visit the Lilly Direct website and click Get Started.

*Expenses for Zepbound through Lilly Direct do not count towards your medical deductible or out-of-pocket maximums

NEW for 7/1/2025 - Medicare 1-1 Assistance

  • If you or a family member is nearing Medicare eligibility age, you may have questions. NFP’s Medicare team is ready to help and can be contacted at 1-888-805-7701 or TeamMedicare@nfp.com.

NEW for 7/1/2025 - Voluntary Coverages 

  • D'Addario will be offering all benefits-eligible employees the opportunity to enroll in Accident, Specific Disease, and Hospital Indemnity plans. These are 100% employee-paid coverages, administered by Sun Life. To learn more about these coverages, please refer the benefit summaries and a brief overview below.

How To Enroll

Visit ADP WorkforceNow to review your current coverage and enroll and modify your elections.

If you'd like to change your existing coverage or make new elections, you must do so by June 13th. Your current medical, dental and vision elections will carry forward to 2025 if you don't make a new election.

NEW Voluntary Accident, Specified Disease, & Hospital Indemnity Coverages

  1. Accident insurance pays a cash benefit to an employee or a covered dependent who is injured in a covered accident.
  2. Specified Disease insurance (Critical Illness) pays a lump sum benefit upon diagnosis of a covered condition.
    1. Benefit options offered to employees range from $10,000 to $40,000, in $10,000 increments.
    2. Spouses are eligible for 100% of the employee amount.
    3. Children are eligible for 50% of the employee amount.
    4. You must have medical insurance to be eligible for this coverage. Your medical insurance does not need to be through D’Addario.
  3. Hospital Indemnity insurance provides a cash benefit when an employee or covered dependent is admitted to the hospital due to a covered sickness or injury (including for maternity/pregnancy).

Please note, all plans are offered with the following provisions:

  • Guaranteed Issue – no health questions required for enrollment.
  • No pre-existing condition limitations or waiting periods – benefit payable event must occur after the plan effective date.
  • Wellness / health screening benefit included on Specified Disease that pays $50 each year you get your annual physical.
