Coyne Chemical believes that providing quality healthcare benefits to our employees is a top priority. Our goal is to continue to provide you with comprehensive healthcare benefits while managing growing premium costs. After our annual review of the benefit programs where we carefully considered alternatives and conducted extensive negotiations, our medical, dental, and vision carriers will be changing to Aetna effective September 1, 2021.
Coyne Chemical strives to offer employees an array of benefit options to fit a variety of employee needs. Open enrollment is the time to review the benefits and make any changes for the coming plan year (9/1/2021 to 8/31/2022).
Please read this overview carefully as it contains the actions you need to take during open enrollment. All benefit elections made during open enrollment will be effective on September 1, 2021.

Flexible Spending Accounts
September 1st begins the new plan year for anyone that would like to participate in the Flexible Spending Accounts (Health and Dependent Care). You must reenroll each year.
This year it will be an ACTIVE ENROLLMENT. You must log onto ADP to elect benefits. If you do not complete this process by August 12 you will not have any coverage for the new plan year.
Log into ADP self-service site to elect your benefits. Click on the link below in the blue box to enroll in your benefits.
Annual Open Enrollment begins on August 5, 2021 and ends August 12, 2021
You should carefully consider your open enrollment decision as this is the only time you are permitted to change your benefit elections without a qualifying life event. Your decisions will remain in effect for the entire plan year (September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022) unless you experience a qualifying life event. The life events that allow a benefit election change are noted below.
• Marriage or divorce
• Birth or adoption of a child
• Death of a dependent
• Start or end of your spouse’s employment and insurance coverage
• Your dependent becomes ineligible for coverage
• Becoming eligible for Medicare or Medicaid during the plan year
• Reduction of hours to less than 30 hours per week
• Enrollment under a qualified health plan offered by a state health insurance
