Open Enrollment is your opportunity to evaluate your current benefit elections and make changes for the new plan year, beginning September 1st. Meetings will be conducted to discuss updates to your benefits package and to assist you with any questions or changes you may need to make.
These meetings will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes, so please plan accordingly. Remember to bring information necessary to add dependents, such as birth dates and social security numbers.
Open Enrollment paperwork is due to HR by August 5th.
The Comanche Nation is committed to offering a comprehensive employee benefits program that helps our employees stay healthy, feel secure and maintain a work-life balance. Therefore, we are making some changes and introducing new and exciting benefits for the new plan year.
Medical Benefits: Our medical plan sustained a significant increase this year, due to high claims utilization. To continue offering comprehensive benefits at an affordable cost, we will be making some changes to our medical benefits. Please refer to your enrollment guide for benefit information.
Dental Benefits: You spoke. We listened. We are moving our dental benefits back to Delta Dental. We are also increasing your ortho benefit from $1,500 to $3,000. You may not be in the system by the 1st, so we ask that you refrain from scheduling a dental appointment the first two weeks of September.
New Benefit offerings: We’re happy to introduce some exciting new benefits.
Voluntary Identity Theft Protection: Cybercrime is on the rise! Norton LifeLock’s comprehensive solution incorporates identity, security, and privacy protection so you can keep what’s yours, yours.
Voluntary Pet Insurance: Pet Insurance will be offered through Nationwide on a voluntary basis. Nationwide pet insurance provides coverage for veterinary expenses related to accidents, illnesses, wellness, and more. Policies are available for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and other exotic pets. Scan the QR code on the enclosed flyer, if interested in enrolling.
Your Cost Per Paycheck: As a result of the plan change, our medical premiums are decreasing. Also, our dental premiums are increasing slightly for the employee + children and family tiers.
No other benefit incurred a rate change; however, you may see a change in your cost per pay for Voluntary Life, Short-term or Long-term Disability, if you advanced to a new age band or had a change in salary.
As a full-time employee of the Comanche Nation, you are eligible for the comprehensive benefits available to you and your family.
