Open Enrollment is your opportunity to evaluate your current benefit elections and make changes for the new plan year, beginning September 1st. Meetings will be conducted to discuss updates to your benefits package and to assist you with any questions or changes you may need to make.
These meetings will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes, so please plan accordingly. Remember to bring information necessary to add dependents, such as birth dates and social security numbers.
Open Enrollment elections are due by August 22nd.
The Comanche Nation Gaming Commission is committed to offering a comprehensive employee benefits program that helps our employees stay healthy, feel secure and maintain a work-life balance. Therefore, we are making some changes for the new plan year.
Medical Benefits: Our medical plan sustained a significant increase due to high claims utilization. To continue offering comprehensive benefits at an affordable cost, we are changing our plan’s network to Blue Advantage. Blue Advantage is a smaller network of providers but comes with lower premiums due to deeper negotiated discounts. This means less out of pocket for you, with no change in benefits. Please refer to your Benefits Guide and Summaries of Benefits & Coverage (SBCs) for more detail.
Your Cost Per Paycheck: Our medical premiums are increasing, so you’ll see a change to your cost per pay for this benefit.
No other benefit incurred a rate change; however, you may see a change in your cost per pay for Voluntary Life, Short-term or Long-term Disability, if you advanced to a new age band or had a change in salary.
As a full-time employee of the Comanche Nation, you are eligible for the comprehensive benefits available to you and your family.
