There are three medical plan options partially paid by Bushel Inc, through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Dakota. While you are free to select any provider you choose, it is more cost effective to stay within the network. All plans include preventive services paid at 100%. 2022 BlueSaver Preventive Drug List
A health savings account (HSA) is a tax-advantaged savings account that you can use for medical expenses. It is paired with a qualifying health insurance plan; typically a high deductible health plan (HDHP). An HDHP is a plan that offers lower monthly premiums in exchange for a higher deductible (the amount you pay out of pocket before insurance kicks in).

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows you to aside pretax dollars for qualified expenses and reduces your taxable income.
You can also enroll in a Dependent Care FSA to set aside pretax dollars to cover daycare expenses.

MetLife Dental is a voluntary benefit. There are two dental plan options. Both plans utilize the same PDP Plus network and include preventative services paid at 100% with participating providers.
The Buy Up Plan pays a higher annual maximum and features additional coverage for basic services, major services and orthodontic care.
The network is PDP Plus.
Metlife Vision Care is a voluntary benefit that offers discounts to Bushel Inc employees and their family members for corrective eyewear needs such as: eyeglasses, contact lenses and Lasik vision.
Basic term life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage is provided for all benefit eligible employees. Employees must assign a beneficiary for the company provided benefit. This plan is portable when requested within 31 days of termination.
MetLife Short Term Disability is a company paid benefit.
MetLife Long Term Disability is a voluntary benefit.

The Bushel Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is company paid and confidential.
Bushel is working with The Village Business Institute to offer a strong employee assistance program for Bushel employees. If you are not in the Fargo area ask The Village about your options to find someone in your area.
Your EAP program offers professional guidance in areas such as:
It is strictly confidential. Unless you ask us to, we won’t tell anyone what is discussed in the counseling session.
It is available 24/7, 365 days a year, with nationwide accessibility.
There is no cost to you or members of your household.
The number of sessions available to a covered individual’s household is equal to the number of households times (x) four (4). As an example, a household with five (5) members would have access to a
maximum of 20 sessions (5 members x 4/member = 20 sessions) per 12-month period. Any number of those sessions can be used by any member of the household up to the total number. There is a
minimum of 8 sessions per household.
