PPC remains committed to providing a competitive, cost-effective benefit program. Please review your 2024-2025 PPC Benefits Enrollment Guide for information on all the benefit offerings.


Important Changes:


  • Medical- We will be moving from Cigna to Allied Benefit System using the Aetna Network. Pharmacy benefits will continue to be provided by Optum.


  • ID Card – You will receive a new Allied Benefit System - Aetna medical card that will be used for medical benefits. The card will include your pharmacy information through Optum.

How to Enroll

Here's what you'll need to do to get started:

  1. Review the 2024-2025 Benefits Guide.
  2. We encourage you to confirm your elections are correct for the new plan year.
  3. Contact the Benefits Enrollment and Support Call Center at 888-216-6859; available Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm MST.
  4. Schedule an appointment with a benefits counselor with the link below. Select 'America/Denver' for the time zone.
  5. Have your dependent's information (social security number, date of birth) available at the time of enrollment.


Open enrollment is the only time you can make changes to your benefits, unless you experience a qualifying life event such as marriage, divorce, birth, etc.

New Medical Insurance

PPC is offering three medical plans through Allied Benefit System using the Aetna Network: Two High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) and a PPO Plan.


How do I locate medical providers?

  1. Follow the link below for My Allied Portal
  2. Login to your My Allied Portal or you can download the My Allied Portal app from Apple or Google Play Store.
  3. Search Provider Directory
  4. An instruction flyer is available below.


How do I access my Medical ID Card?

  1. Login to My Allied Portal
  2. Follow the instructions to view or print your ID card
  3. An instruction flyer is available below.


Pharmacy

  1. Go to OptumRx.com or scan the QR code in the document titled "Optum Digital Toolkit"
  2. Select Register on the home page
  3. Enter the information from your member ID card
  4. Create a username and password
  5. Complete your profile

Health Savings Account

A qualified high deductible health plan paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA) is an alternative to traditional health insurance plans. The HSA is a savings product that offers a different way for consumers to pay for their health care costs. You must be covered by a Qualified High Deductible Health Plan (QHDHP) to be able to contribute to an HSA. As a reminder, you must enroll in the HSA every year.


Your HSA is your money. Whatever you do not spend rolls over to the next year. If you change jobs or retire, your HSA balance goes with you.

great benefits of One Medical. Here's a few steps on how to get started:


1. Activate your membership


  • Visit onemedical.com/peakmed and select “Activate now”.
  • Enter your legal first name, last name, and date of birth.
  • Enter your email address if prompted.
  • Select Myself when asked “Who is this membership for?”.
  • Enter your name and contact information.
  • Enter your birthdate and sex.
  • Select your location, Denver or Colorado Springs.
  • Create your account with log in email and password.
  • Agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and HIPAA Notice.
  • If requested, verify your email.


2. Register your eligible spouse and dependents


  • To sign up your eligible spouse and dependents, for each individual family member, follow the same steps above, enter their legal first name, last name, and date of birth, and following the prompts.


3. Download the One Medical app


  • Download the app at onemedical.com/mobile to easily book visits, request prescription renewals, message with providers, and more.


4. Get care at One Medical


  • As a One Medical member, you can book a visit to get care through the One Medical app or on desktop at app.onemedical.com.

Dental

The dental plan is offered through Delta Dental of Colorado. Member ID cards will not be issued for the PPO plan since it is not required for services.


Those who enroll in the Primary Direct dental plan must select a dentist from the directory to receive an ID card. All family members must select the same dentist.

Vision & Hearing

The vision plan, along with the hearing benefit, will be provided by Ameritas. Those enrolled in PPC's medical plan will automatically be enrolled in the vision plan at no cost to you.


You now have the option to enroll in vision only if you do not wish to enroll in PPC's medical plan.

PPC provides Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance to full-time employees at no cost to you. As an employee, you can purchase additional Life and AD&D insurance for yourself, spouse, and dependents. Please be sure to keep your beneficiary designation up-to-date.


For voluntary life insurance, if you currently have a minimum of $10,000 benefit amount elected, you can increase your policy amount by $20,000 at open enrollment without providing evidence of insurability.


Disability Insurance

Becoming disabled is often an unexpected and a burdensome experience, and it can happen to anyone. Disability insurance can help protect your income in the event of a disability by providing you a benefit for injuries and sickness which are not work related.

Accident & Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity

Supplemental benefits help offset the unexpected medical expenses, such as emergency room fees, deductibles and copayments. Employees can purchase supplemental Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity for themselves and their dependents.


For voluntary critical illness, you may elect up to the guaranteed issue amount(s) without having to answer health questions.


Remember to complete your health assessment to receive $50 for each plan year.
