Be Kind To Your Mind
When it comes to mental health and wellbeing, we know there is no "one size fits all' approach. That's why Sholom has partnered with the following providers to give you and your family access to several mental and behavioral wellbeing tools and resources at no cost to you.
Learn to Live
Learn how to live your best life. More than 114 million Americans who have addressable mental health conditions will never seek face-to-face therapy due to social stigma, accessibility and cost. In fact, three out of four people don’t get the help they need. Now there’s an easy way to get it, in the privacy of your own home. If you’re concerned about stress, depression, social anxiety, insomnia or substance use, Learn to Live is an online cognitive behavioral program that can help you work through those issues when and where it’s convenient for you — and it’s proven to work.
How It Works: A quick online assessment determines which programs would benefit you the most. Eight interactive lessons then help you explore situations that trigger negative emotions and give you tips, tricks and strategies to work through them. It is part of your health plan so there is no additional cost to you, and it is completely confidential. Learn to Live can help you get a handle on stress, depression, social anxiety, insomnia and substance use so you’re in control — not your emotions.

Quarter Four (11/22-1/2): Maintain 6 Weeks
Many people find it difficult to simply maintain weight over the holidays, resulting in them entering the new year - each year - with extra pounds. This can put a burden on overall health and self-esteem. This 6-week challenge supports employees during the season when holidays abound and food choices are especially tempting. We focus on simply maintaining weight (vs weight loss) and provide resources and tips to overcome temptations and find success. While the benefits of physical activity are well-documented, recent research shows how the benefits compound when activity is taken outside. Being in nature boosts mood, increases self-esteem and helps us feel calm and connected. This challenge comes just as the weather is getting nicer and encourages more outdoor activity. Education and tips help employees reap the physical and
emotional rewards of spending more active time outside.
Learn about new wellbeing topics each month with our broker partner NFP's Wellness Newsletter. Each month will include a new health topic, a move, and a recipe.
