Benefits Overview

The plan year is changing to January 1 for all employees. Our medical carrier is changing to United Healthcare (UHC) and all other benefit carriers will remain the same. Open enrollment will take place over Namely. 


Deductibles and out of pocket maximums will reset January 1, 2022. (No change for TX employees. NY employees reset early.)



Saatva is holding its annual open enrollment period for all employees November 19th to November 26th. This is the time for you to review, revise and elect your benefits including:

Action Required
  • Visit Namely to review and make changes to your benefit plans
  • If you'd like to change your existing coverage or make new elections, you must do so by November 26th. Your current medical, dental and vision elections will map to the closest matching plan for 2022 if you don't make a new election.
  • To participate in a Health Savings Account in 2022, you must make an active election.

Medical

You will have three medical options to choose from

  1. PPO Choice Plus Plan- Most robust plan. This plan includes out-of-network benefits.
  2. EPO Choice Plus Plan- Mid-tier plan. Coverage for in-network only.
  3. HDHP Choice Plus HSA Plan- High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA). This plan has a high deductible that applies to all benefits until it is met. Only under this plan, you have the opportunity to open an HSA and contribute funds on a pretax basis. These funds can be used to pay the deductible, used on eligible expenses, or saved for a later date.
