Both medical options are PPOs. A PPO option offers the freedom to see any provider when you need care. When you use providers from within the PPO network, you receive benefits at the discounted network cost. In order to comply with IRS regulations for high deductible health plans, the deductible on the PPO HSA will increase from $1,400/$2,800 to $1,500/$3,000.
Please note: if you do not make changes to your current medical election, you will still be able to use your current ID card in 2023. If you make changes, your new ID card may not arrive before April 1, 2023, but, rest assured, you will have benefits coverage.
