Introduction

Thank you for visiting your Open Enrollment Portal. We are excited to offer a comprehensive Benefits Package to promote health and wellness for both you and your family. We hope this resource will make your benefit selections convenient and easy. We’ll be updating the portal throughout the process so be sure to check back. Your Open Enrollment Period is from November 2, 2020, through November 11, 2020. Your benefit coverage will start January 1, 2021. 


Annual enrollment is your opportunity to learn about the 2021 health care program, review your current coverage and choose the best options for you and your family. Please review our 2021 enrollment guide and attend our upcoming education session to learn more about our 2021 benefits offerings.

Eligibility

Who is Eligible


All full-time employees who work at least 30 hours per week, and their eligible dependents as described below, are eligible to enroll in the benefits.


When Coverage Begins for New Employees


If you are a regular full-time employee of ABC Widget scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week, your coverage begins first of the month following your date of hire with the Company, provided you have completed the enrollment process within 30 days after you become eligible to enroll. After your initial enrollment, you will have the opportunity to re-enroll in the Benefits Program each year during the Annual Open Enrollment period.


When Coverage Ends


If your employment with ABC Widget ends, your coverage will end on the last day of the month of your termination. Depending upon the circumstances of your termination, you may be able to continue coverage under COBRA.


Other circumstances which may result in termination of your coverage include:

  • Reduction in your regular hours
  • Divorce
  • Legal separation
  • Dependent children who reach age 26


Eligible Dependents

Your eligible dependents include:

  • Your spouse (unless you are legally separated)
  • Your domestic partner
  • Your dependent children who are less than 26 years of age


How to Enroll

Your Initial New Hire Enrollment

  • Complete your enrollment by selecting your benefit elections in your Rippling account. An email will be sent to your work email address with registration instructions.


Your Annual Open Enrollment

  • Complete your open enrollment by selecting your benefit elections in your Rippling account and following the prompts to complete Open Enrollment.

HSA

A Health Savings Account, or HSA, is an account that lets employees enrolled on a high deductible, HSA Qualified health plan contribute a pre-tax portion of their pay to cover health expenses that are not covered by an existing health insurance plan until the deductible is met.

How To Enroll

Action Required


  • Visit (bswift, etc. or your OE Application or website) to review your current coverage and enroll and modify your elections for 2021. Flexible Spending Account in 2021, you must make an active election, even if you're already participating in 2021. 


If you'd like to change your existing coverage or make new elections, you must do so by November 11. Your current medical, dental and vision elections will carry forward to 2021 if you don't make a new election. 


To participate in a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account in 2021, you must make an active election, even if you're already participating in 2021.
