Welcome

Helping you and your family reach and maintain good health is very important to CSP. We are pleased to offer a selection of benefits designed with your health and financial wellbeing in mind. We review our benefit programs each year to ensure we consider the best combination of benefit coverage, network access and affordability for employees.  CSP remains committed to providing a competitive, cost-effective benefit program. Each year we take great care and detail in the benefit programs offered to employees. Highlights of the 2026 benefit plans include: 

  • Quantum Health is our continued health advocacy partner, no plan design changes or contribution changes
  • Medical Plans will use the Aetna POS II Choice network
  • Rx will run through the CVS Caremark
  • FSA still through EBC, with IRS limit increasing
  • Dental Plan will remain with Delta Dental, increase in contributions
  • Vision Plan will remain with EyeMed, decrease in contributions
  • Core Life & Voluntary Life through Prudential
  • Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, & FMLA through Prudential
  • Critical Illness & Accident coverage through Prudential
  • Employee Assistance Program still through Prudential
  • Legal and ID Protection still with Legal Shield/ID Shield

OPEN ENROLLMENT REMINDER!

Open Enrollment is from October 27, 2025 through November 14, 2025. This is the time of year where you can elect new plans with Teijin Automotive Technologies. You may switch between plans and make changes without being required to have a qualifying life event. Please also keep in mind the following when making your elections for 2026:

THIS IS A MANDATORY OPEN ENROLLMENT! 

If you do not log in to make elections during this open enrollment period, your current elections will not carry over, you must log in and make elections by 11/14/2025.

Medical & Rx

Quantum Health will be continue to be your health advocate for medical and prescription drug coverage for the 2026 plan year. 

Please be register your account on the Quantum Health member portal. This is where you can access important information pertaining to your new medical plans with Quantum Health including participating providers, cost estimates for services, explanation of benefits/claims, and your accumulation amounts for deductibles and out-of-pocket costs.

Virtual Care

CSP provides those employees who are covered by one of the medical plans access to virtual care with Teladoc Health. Teladoc Health provides members the opportunity to receive medical and mental health care from the comfort of your own home. 

 All eligible members will need to download the Teladoc Health app and create a new account with Teladoc Health.

Virtual Care:

Have a virtual visit with a U.S. board-certified doctor for minor illnesses such as colds, sore throats, urinary tract infections and pink eye. Visits are available for adults and children 24/7. Average wait time is 10 minutes. Prescriptions can be called in to your preferred pharmacy if needed.

  •  <7-day average wait time to see a PCP 
  • Eliminating transportation costs and travel time
  • Build a relationship and receive quality care; average length of a new patient visit is 54 minutes
  • Manage their chronic conditions; 46% of follow up visits were for identified chronic conditions 
  • Address their whole health needs; 20% of visits resulted in a referral to an in-network care provider and 53% used at least one other Teladoc service

Virtual Mental Health Services:

Through the Mental Health option, you can connect with a licensed therapist or U.S. board-certified psychiatrist when you’re dealing with stressful situations or issues such as grief, anxiety and depression. Appointments are available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. Therapy is available for members ages 13 and up. Psychiatry is available for members ages 18 and up.

The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible medical and/or dental and vision expenses. The nice part about an FSA is you have access to the full annualized amount on day one! The election you make cannot be changed throughout the year unless the change aligns with the qualifying event. For example, if you get married, you can increase your contribution, however, you cannot decrease or end your FSA for this type of life event. 

Plan Details are as follows:

  • You can contribute up to $3,400 annually.
  • At the end of the plan year, you have 2 1/2 months to incur claims to use any leftover funds.
  • You have access to your full annualized election amount on day one.

CSP dental plan provides comprehensive coverage to help you and your family maintain good dental health. The dental plans include both in and out of network benefits. Although your cost sharing is the same in and out of network, if you do go out of network it is likely that you will experience balance billing.

If you are already enrolled in the CSP Delta Dental plan today and have not already done so, please be sure to register through the Delta Dental member portal where you can access important information pertaining to your dental plan with Delta Dental including participating providers, coverage information, and explanation of benefits/claims. If you are not currently covered, you will be able to register in the Delta Dental portal as of your effective date of coverage.

Providers & Resources

Delta Dental of Michigan offers the nation's largest dental networks: Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental Premier. Plus, you will not be balance billed if you see a PPO or Premier dentist - giving them added savings. If you do choose to visit a nonparticipating dentist you may be balance billed and may have to pay more.

When traveling out of the United States you also have access to the Passport Dental program giving you access to a worldwide network of dentists. English-speaking operators are available to help you access care. Delta Dental coverage outside of the United States is the same as Delta Dental coverage within the United States.

CSP offers vision coverage through EyeMed to help pay for eye exams, prescription glasses and contact lenses. EyeMed also provides discounts for Hearing Care and Lasik.

CSP understands the importance to you and your family to have strong financial protection. We provide all employees Basic Life/AD&D and Disability coverage at no cost to you. In addition to these benefits, we offer a variety of insurance you can choose from on a voluntary, employee paid basis so you can select what is best for your family. All of these coverages are provided to protect your income and out of pocket expenses.

Life/AD&D

A sudden accident or death can leave you or your loved ones in a vulnerable position. CSP provides all eligible employees Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage in the amount of 2.5 time's your annual salary up to $400,000 at no cost to you. Employees have the opportunity to enroll in additional Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance which will supplement lost income in the event of an accident or death. If you choose to enroll in employee coverage, this will be in addition to your employer provided Basic Life coverage.

Voluntary/Supplemental Life Insurance Options

Employee: $10,000 increments up to $500,000; guarantee issue is $200,000*

Spouse: $5,000 increments up to the lesser of your amount or $150,000; guarantee issue is $50,000*

Child: $2,000 increments up to the lesser of your amount or $10,000

Evidence of Insurability (EOI) will be required for spouses, employee future elections that are not due to new hire enrollment, increases to benefit amounts, or an election that exceeds the guarantee issue amount.

Who's Your Beneficiary? Naming a beneficiary is a crucial part of electing life insurance. Also, don't forget to update your primary or secondary beneficiary if you experience a life event, such as a divorce or birth of a child.

*Guarantee Issue only applies to new hires or newly eligible spouses (due to marriage) electing benefits for the first time.

CSP provides both Short & Long-Term Disability benefits at no cost to you!

Everyday illnesses or injuries can interfere with your ability to work, more serious issues can impact your ability to work indefinitely. Even a few weeks away from work can make it difficult to manage household costs. Disability coverage provides financial protection for you by paying a portion of your income, so you can focus on getting better and worry less about keeping up with your bills.

Short-Term Disability

Benefits begin on the 1st day of an accident or the 8th day of an illness.

Benefits may last up to 26 weeks.

Benefit Amount: $350

Long-Term Disability

 Benefits begin on the 181st day of an accident or illness.

Benefits may last up to your Social Security Normal Retirement Age

Benefit Amount is 60% of your monthly income to a maximum of $5,000

Pre-existing Condition Limitation 12/12 - If you have an LTD claim in the first 12 months of being on the plan of which you received any type of treatment for during the 12-month window prior to enrolling on the plan, the claim may be denied due to the pre-existing condition limitation.

CSP provides a competitive benefits package for all employees as part of our total compensation package. We realize you make benefit choices based on what’s important to you and the needs of your changing lifestyle. Therefore, along with our core benefits, we offer these additional benefits which help to provide financial support to you. These benefits are paid for through payroll deduction on a post-tax basis so that the benefits are tax free.

Accident & Critical Illness coverage is provided through Prudential. Hopefully you are never in the position to use it, but if you were to experience an accident, illness, or hospitalization, it could end up costing you a lot of money. With these plans, you will be paid money for qualifying situations/services to cover out of pocket expenses, or you may use the funds for whatever you like. 

Accident Provides cash benefits for qualifying accidents and follow up care such as broken bones, sprains, burns and more.

Critical Illness Provides a cash benefit for qualifying illnesses such as heart attacks, strokes, organ failure, cancer and more.

Identity Protection and Legal Services are provided through ID Shield/Legal Shield. These benefits are offered in an effort to protect and assist with the expenses and services needed in the event you are faced with compromises to your identity or legal matters.
