We review our benefit programs each year to ensure we consider the best combination of benefit coverage, network access and affordability for employees. All FULL-TIME employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in the benefit plans offered by The Reynolds Company. Newly hired employees will be eligible the 1st of the month following date of hire. When you enroll in the benefits program, you may also cover your eligible dependents. Dependents include your legal spouse and children.
Children are eligible for benefits as follows:
Should your employment with The Reynolds Company end, your coverage will end as of the date of termination.
ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
The Benefit choices you make during your open enrollment remain in effect for the entire year. You can, however, modify your elections under certain circumstances, called "Qualifying Events" These are events such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, loss of eligibility under another plan. If you experience a qualifying event, you may make changes to your benefits within 30 days of the event.

United Healthcare (UHC) will continue to be your medical and prescription carrier. You have the choice between two plans for the 2024 plan year. The plan options include a PPO plan and a HDHP PPO plan. View the Providers & Networks for more information on how these plans networks differ from each other as well as buttons to locate participating providers.
If you are already enrolled in one of The Reynolds Company UHC medical plans today and have not already done so, please be sure to register through the UHC member portal where you can access important information pertaining to your medical plans with UHC including participating providers, cost estimates for services, explanation of benefits/claims, and your accumulation amounts for deductibles and out-of-pocket costs. If you are not currently covered, you will be able to register in the UHC portal as of your effective date of coverage.

All TRC employees have access to virtual visits with Teladoc, regardless of whether you are enrolled in one of the medical benefit options. Teladoc provides members the opportunity to receive medical care from the comfort of their own home. With Teladoc, eligible employees and dependents have access to board certified doctors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.

Virtual Visits received for medical services are free for employees and their dependents! If prescribed a medication during a virtual visit, applicable Rx cost sharing will apply based on your prescription coverage.

The Health Savings Account (HSA) allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible expenses. By contributing to a HSA, you reduce your taxable income, so you pay less in taxes — which saves you money.

The Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible expenses. By contributing to one or both of the Flexible Spending Accounts you reduce your taxable income, so you pay less in taxes — which saves you money.
Contributions
The election you make during enrollment is your election for the entire plan year. You may change it only if you have a qualifying life event and the change request must be consistent with the event.

Grace Period: Both the Health Care and Dependent Care FSA have a 75 day “grace period”. This means that you have until March 15, 2025, to incur your eligible expenses and until June 15, 2025, to submit your claims.

Dental benefits are provided by United Healthcare. Eligible employees may pick between the DHMO (applicable states) or the DPPO Plan. Both options cover Preventive, Basic and Major services.
The DHMO Plan, provides care from In-Network Dentists only. Orthodontia coverage is available for both Children and Adults. The DPPO Plan offers benefits from both In-Network and Out-of-Network providers. In-Network benefits are illustrated below, Out-of-Network benefits are the same, however, you may experience balance billing. Orthodontia benefits are limited to Children (up to 19th birthday).
You can register for the UHC member portal using the resource button in the medical section or by visiting myuhc - Member Login | UnitedHealthcare. You only need to register with one username, all of your active coverage with the TRC UHC plans will be populated through that one sign on.

TRC's Vision benefits are through United Healthcare. When enrolled, you have the option of seeing an In-Network provider or an Out-of-Network provider. You receive the highest level of reimbursement when an In-Network provider is utilized.
Benefits include coverage for Exams, Lenses (including Contacts) and Frames.

The Reynolds Company understands the importance to you and your family to have strong financial protection. We provide all employees Basic Life/AD&D and Disability coverage at no cost to you. In addition to these benefits, we offer a variety of insurance you can choose from on a voluntary, employee paid basis so you can select what is best for your family. All of these coverages are provided to protect your income and out of pocket expenses.

A sudden accident or death can leave you or your loved ones in a vulnerable position. The Reynolds Company provides all eligible employees Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage in the amount of 1 time's your annual salary up to $150,000 at no cost to you. Employees have the opportunity to enroll in additional Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance which will supplement lost income in the event of an accident or death. If you choose to enroll in employee coverage, this will be in addition to your employer provided Basic Life coverage.
Note: Voluntary Life amounts you had elected or had in place for 2023 will be grandfathered into 2024, if they are over the $500,000 limit. Employees are able to increase their enrollment by 2 increments during the 2024 open enrollment period.
