Health Savings Account

PayFlex HSA

For the 2024 plan year, eligible employees enrolled in Isolatek's High Deductible Health Plan will receive a contribution from the Company into your PayFlex Health Savings Account (HSA). This discretionary contribution from the Company is based upon your coverage level. If you are enrolled in the HDHP without any dependents, the Company will contribute $500; if you have one or more dependents enrolled, Isolatek will contribute $1,250 to your HSA.

There are limits to the amount you can contribute to your HSA each year, as established by the IRS. Please see the 2024 HSA Contribution Limits document below for more details.

Important Reminders:

  • If you achieved Gold status in the Vitality Wellness Program in 2023, you will receive an additional $250 deposit into your PayFlex HSA in January 2024.
  • If you achieved Platinum status in the Vitality Wellness Program in 2023, you will receive an additional $750 deposit into your PayFlex HSA in January 2024.
  • The Total Maximum HSA Contribution amounts allowed by the IRS includes any amounts contributed by Isolatek. Plan your payroll deductions and other HSA deposits accordingly, and open the 2024 HSA Contribution Limits document below for all the details.
  • The Company will deposit 50% of their contribution into your PayFlex account in January, and the balance will be deposited in July.
  • Your PayFlex HSA bank account must be open and active to receive Isolatek's deposits in January and July. Be sure to maintain a balance in your account to keep it active; otherwise, you may forfeit the Company's contribution.

Dental

Aetna Dental

Beginning January 1, 2024, Isolatek’s dental carrier will change from Delta Dental to Aetna.  With this carrier change, there is no change to the plan design of Isolatek's dental benefits. The Aetna dental plan features a deductible of either $50 (individual member) or $150 (family). Preventive and diagnostic services are covered 100% and not subject to the deductible. Other dental services are covered at either 80% or 50% after the deductible. And orthodontia is a covered benefit for both adults and children ($1,500 lifetime maximum benefit). Lastly, the Aetna dental plan offers members the flexibility of selecting any licensed dentist to provide your dental care. However, if you choose to use a provider that is not a part of the Aetna dental network you will likely pay more for covered services.

Instructions on how to search for an Aetna network dentist are posted below. Click on the Aetna Dental Provider Search link to get started!

How To Enroll

Action Required for New Employees

The deadline to make your benefit elections for the plan year begining January 1, 2024 is November 17, 2023.

Annual enrollment is your opportunity to make benefit elections for the 2024 plan year. Per IRS rules, employees enrolled in pre-tax benefit plans may only make changes to their benefits once per year during the annual enrollment period. Outside of the annual enrollment period, you may only make changes if you experience a “qualifying life event” such as marriage, birth of a child, loss of dependent status, etc.

This year’s open enrollment will be a passive enrollment. This means that your current benefit elections will roll over into the new plan year that begins January 1, 2024. If you do not want to make changes to your current coverage, you do not need to log into ADP and make an election for the new year.

Please note: Your current Flexible Spending Account (FSA) elections will not roll over into the 2024 plan year. If you want to make a contribution to any type of FSA in 2024, you must log into ADP and make an election for the new year by November 17th.

In addition to choosing your benefits for 2024, when you login to ADP:

  • Review and if needed, update your life insurance beneficiary information
  • Check your address and your personal information and update as needed, and
  • Update or add your emergency contact information.

Step-by step Instructions for enrolling in ADP can be found below, and you can use this ADP link to get started!
