The Annual Open Enrollment Period is your opportunity to learn about the 2023 Isolatek Employee Benefits Program, review your current coverage and choose the best options for you and your family for the new year. Please review our 2023 Benefits Guidebook to learn more about our benefit offerings.
Highlights for 2023:
- Deductible is increasing by $250 for Employee Only & $500 for Family
- Prescription drug copays (in-network pharmacy) are increasing to $20 / $40 / $70
- Isolatek will continue to contribute to your Health Savings Account in 2023
- The Wellness Incentive continues for 2023: $750 if you reach Platinum status and $250 for Gold status
- Payroll costs are increasing for medical; no increases for dental or vision
- A new Identity Theft Protection plan option is available - the Diamond Plus plan includes cyber security features

Medical
Aetna HDHP Highlights for 2023:
- New deductibles for 2023:
- In-network = $2,500 Employee Only and $5,000 for all other coverage tiers
- Out-of-network = $4,500 Employee Only and $9,000 for all other coverage tiers
- The in-network out-of-pocket maximum will increase to $5,000 Employee Only and $7,500 for all other coverage tiers
- Retail pharmacy prescription drug copays will be $20 Tier 1 / $40 Tier 2 / $70 Tier 3
- Mail Order copays are 2 times the retail copay for a 90-day supply
Health Savings Account
For the 2023 plan year, eligible employees enrolled in Isolatek's High Deductible Health Plan will receive a contribution from the Company into your PayFlex Health Savings Account (HSA). This discretionary contribution from the Company is based upon your coverage level. If you are enrolled in the HDHP without any dependents, the Company will contribute $500; if you have one or more dependents enrolled, Isolatek will contribute $1,250 to your HSA.
There are limits to the amount you can contribute to your HSA each year, as established by the IRS. Please see the 2023 HSA Contribution Limits document below for more details.
Important Reminders:
- If you achieved Gold status in the Vitality Wellness Program in 2022, you will receive an additional $250 deposit into your PayFlex HSA in January 2023.
- If you achieved Platinum status in the Vitality Wellness Program in 2022, you will receive an additional $750 deposit into your PayFlex HSA in January 2023.
- The Total Maximum HSA Contribution amounts allowed by the IRS includes any amounts contributed by Isolatek. Plan your payroll deductions and other HSA deposits accordingly, and open the 2023 HSA Contribution Limits document below for all the details.
- The Company will deposit 50% of their contribution into your PayFlex account in January, and the balance will be deposited in July.
- Your PayFlex HSA bank account must be open and active to receive Isolatek's deposits in January and July. Be sure to maintain a balance in your account to keep it active; otherwise, you may forfeit the Company's contribution.
Voluntary Benefits
Isolatek employees have access to these voluntary plans from Transamerica:

- Hospital Select
- Accident Advance
- Universal Life (with Long Term Care rider)
The Critical Events, Hospital Select and Accident Advance plans each pay you a cash benefit if you have a qualifying illness or event. See the information below to read more about these plans. You can enroll in these plans through your ADP enrollment site.
Dental
For 2023, Isolatek's Dental Plan continued with no changes to benefits, and no change to payroll contributions for dental.
Reminder - Our Delta Dental coverage includes a “Carryover Max” provision. If you see your dentist during the year for a cleaning or exam, and don’t use more than 50% of your $1,500 annual plan maximum, you can carry over 25% of your unused benefit (up to $375) to the next plan year – a great feature if you anticipate future dental expenses. To qualify, you must have at least one dental cleaning or oral exam during the plan year and submit a claim for that service, and your claims for the year cannot exceed $750.

How To Enroll
This is an active open enrollment, meaning all employees must log into ADP to make benefit elections for 2023. Be sure to complete your elections by November 18, 2022.
Important note for annual enrollment: Prior year benefit elections will not all carry forward. You must make your benefit elections each year during the designed annual enrollment period, even if you are waiving coverage. If you do not enroll at this time, unless you have a mid-year life event, your next opportunity to elect Isolatek's benefits will be in November 2023 (for coverage effective January 1, 2024).
In addition to choosing your benefits for 2023, when you login to ADP:
- Review and if needed, update your life insurance beneficiary information
- Check your address and your personal information and update as needed, and
- Update or add your emergency contact information.
