TRC is pleased to offer a selection of benefits designed with your health and financial wellbeing in mind. We review our benefit programs each year to ensure we consider the best combination of benefit coverage, network access and affordability for employees.
TRC remains committed to providing a competitive, cost-effective benefit program. Each year we take great care and detail in the benefit programs offered to employees. Below are highlights of the plans currently offered:
All regular employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in the benefit plans offered by TRC. Benefits are effective the first of the month following date of hire. When you enroll in the benefits program, you may also cover your eligible dependents. Dependents include your legal spouse and children. Dependent Children eligibility is as follows:
Spousal Provision: If your spouse has medical coverage through their employer, they must elect that coverage first to be eligible for The Reynolds Company medical insurance. If your spouse is covered by both their employer plan and the TRC plan, the TRC plan will be secondary.
UHC is the medical and prescription carrier this year. The plans that are offered are as follows:
Both the Core PPO and the HDHP PPO plans do not require you to select a Primary Care Physician (PCP) or obtain a referral to see a specialist. Both plans have In-Network and Out-of-Network benefits.

The Health Savings Account (HSA) allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible expenses. By contributing to a HSA you reduce your taxable income, so you pay less in taxes — which saves you money.
To be eligible to contribute towards an HSA tax-free, you must meet the requirements below:
HSA IRS Maximums are as follows:
$3,650 for a single contract / $7,300 for a two person or family
$1,000 "Catch Up" contribution for those age 55+
TRC provides all eligible employees access to FREE* virtual visits through Teladoc. Teladoc provides members the opportunity to receive medical and mental health care from the comfort of your own home. With Teladoc, eligible employees and dependents have access to licensed doctors by phone or video 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
*If medications are prescribed they will apply towards your prescription coverage through UHC where applicable copays/cost-sharing may apply.
Dental benefits are provided by United Healthcare. Eligible employees may pick between the DHMO (applicable states) or the DPPO Plan. Both options cover Preventive, Basic and Major services.
The DHMO Plan, provides care from In-Network Dentists only. Orthodontia coverage is available for both Children and Adults.
The DPPO Plan offers benefits from both In-Network and Out-of-Network providers. Orthodontia benefits are limited to Children (up to 19th birthday).

TRC's Vision benefits are through United Healthcare. When enrolled, you have the option of seeing an In-Network provider or an Out-of-Network provider. You receive the highest level of reimbursement when an In-Network provider is utilized.
When enrolled, you have the option of seeking care from an In-Network or Out-of-Network provider. You receive the maximum benefit when In-Network providers are utilized.
Benefits include coverage for Exams, Lenses (including Contacts) and Frames.

The Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible expenses. By contributing to one or both of the Flexible Spending Accounts you reduce your taxable income, so you pay less in taxes — which saves you money.
Contributions
The election you make during enrollment is your election for the entire plan year. You may change it only if you have a qualifying life event and the change request must be consistent with the event. All FSA plans include a 75 day grace period, this means that you will have until March 15, 2023 to incur eligible expenses and use 2022 left over funds.

TRC provides you with financial protection options for Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability with New York Life. .
Life/ and Accident Death & Disability (AD&D) Benefits
A sudden accident or death can leave you or your loved ones in a vulnerable position. TRC offers Employer Paid Basic Life/AD&D coverage to all Eligible Employees. Employees also have the opportunity to enroll in Optional Life/AD&D insurance.
If you choose to enroll in Optional employee coverage, this will be in addition to your employer provided Basic Life coverage.
*Guarantee Issue: When you are first eligible (at hire) for Voluntary Life and AD&D, you may purchase up to $150,000 Guaranteed Issue (GI) for yourself and up to $50,000 for your spouse without providing proof of good health (EOI). At re-enrollment, employees can increase or enroll in $10,000, up to GI without proof of good heath.
Short Term Disability (Employer Paid)
Everyday illnesses or injuries can interfere with your ability to work. Even a few weeks away from work can make it difficult to manage household costs. Short Term Disability coverage provides financial protection for you by paying a portion of your income, so you can focus on getting better and worry less about keeping up with your bills.
Long Term Disability (Employer Paid)
Serious illnesses or accidents can interrupt your life, and your ability to work for months – even years. Long Term Disability provides financial protection for you by paying a portion of your income, so you have financial support to manage your disability and your household.
