Important Pharmacy & ID Card Reminders:

Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI (BCBSM) and Blue Care Network (BCN) is transitioning their Pharmacy Benefit Manager and will also be issuing new member ID cards. These changes will go into effect as of January 1, 2022.

BCBSM/BCN is transitioning their Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) from Express Scripts to OptumRx effective January 1, 2022.
With the transition, changes to members’ experience, home delivery, drug lists, pharmacy network options, enhanced digital tools and updated member ID cards will occur.
BCBSM/BCN will be communicating with members via mail, email, and online resources concerning the transition to OptumRx.
Your new ID card will be mailed to your home address sometime between October 3^rd and December 15^th that will be effective on January 1, 2022.
