Benefits Overview

Employee Navigator will be used to make your elections. Below highlights the benefits for the plan year.


MEDICAL AND DENTAL

The Medical and Dental plans are with UnitedHealthcare (UHC).


VISION

FC Architects, Inc. offers Vision benefits through VSP.


AFLAC VOLUNTARY BENEFITS

Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity are offered through Aflac. 


FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts (NOT APPLICABLE TO HDHP PLAN MEMBERS IF YOU CONTRIBUTE TO AN HSA):

Employees may elect up to $1,500 per year on a pre-tax basis to use towards health care purchases. Keep in mind, the FSA accounts have a “use it or lose it” rule, minus a $550 rollover.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts:

You can set aside an annual amount up to $5,000 on a pre-tax basis to use towards expenses for qualified dependent(s).


Health Savings Account (HSA):

If you enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, you have the opportunity to contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA). An HSA is a bank account used to pay for qualified health expenses (medical, dental, vision) for you and your eligible tax dependents. The 2022 maximum contribution is $3,650 for single coverage and $7,300 when covering dependents.  


LIFE AND DISABILITY

The Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life, Short Term and Long Term disability programs are with the The Standard.  


NEW: UNIVERSAL LIFE INSURANCE

FC Architects, Inc. offers a Permanent Life option through Transamerica. Universal Life allows you to build cash value, borrow from it to help pay for expenses such as college tuition and mortgage, and use to help pay for costs associated with Long Term Care. Click Here to view the video for additional information.
