Q: Will I always get a discount when I use my membership card?

A: Not necessarily. Each pharmacy determines their own retail pricing.

Q: What if the pharmacy doesn't recognize the card's name?

A: Always make inquiries in person and be sure to bring your card with you. If the pharmacy still has questions, have them call the Pharmacist Help Desk number on the back of your membership card.

Q: Is this a co-pay insurance card?

A: No. This membership is a discount card offering reduced prices. You are responsible to pay the pharmacy 100% of the discounted price.

Q: How do I provide my prescription for home delivery?

A: GeniusRx only accepts prescriptions sent directly from a licensed prescriber, via secure fax, or sent electronically through electronic prescribing software. When you request for us to do so, we can reach out directly to your provider for your prescription or to your pharmacy for your prescription to be transferred, however, this may add more time to fulfilling your order.

Q: How do I order my medications through GeniusRx?

A: Whether placing the order online or by phone, you will need to provide a payment method. A pre-authorization or "hold" will be placed on the credit card for the amount of your order. Your credit card will not be charged until we secure your prescription and ship your order.

After you order, you contact your prescriber to have your prescriptions sent to GeniusRx via their electronic prescribing system. They can find us by searching mail-order pharmacies or via our NCPDP # 5733325. Or they can send a fax to 833-308-0115.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive my home delivery order?

A: All our orders ship via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Members can choose between free Standard Shipping, which typically arrives within 2-5 business days, or $4.99 Priority Mail, which typically arrives within 1-3 business days.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted on home delivery orders? (Home Delivery)

A: We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. Our website is currently unable to process FSA and HSA cards; you will need to call the pharmacy at 1-800-964-9654 to use your FSA/HSA card.

Q. What types of prescription drugs for pets can I find through New Benefits Rx?

A. Currently, New Benefits Rx can be used to purchase many human medications prescribed to pets, such as antibiotics, antidepressants, and drugs to treat diabetes and asthma. It cannot be used to purchase medications that are prescribed exclusively for animals, such as certain types of parasiticides or vaccines.

A. New Benefits Rx for pet prescriptions is just like the human discount program and can be used at more than 60,000 participating retail pharmacies that fill prescriptions for pets. Easily search for participating pharmacies and pick the one closest to you.
